News on HS2 in Solihull

In January 2020, we published our Interchange Area update for January to March, providing an overview of the construction works that had been happening in the area and a look ahead at the months to come. Our next update for April to June is now available.

LM will be continuing works for the construction of the roundabout on the A452 Kenilworth Road, Berkswell close to Park Lane. The third phase of works is to continue the

construction of the central reservation, clear some vegetation and put in drainage along sections of the A452.

Work will start on Tuesday 21 April until the end of May 2020.

Single lane closures on both carriageways, 24/7, except for when full road closures are in place.

From 21– 22 April there will be overnight road closure on the northbound carriageway 20:00 pm to 6:00 am. Local access for residents and or businesses to be agreed with the Traffic Officer.
