News on HS2 in Solihull

Early works to construct the new railway, is carried out by a joint venture between Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons, known as LM.

From 27 January, LM will be working alongside Lavender Hall Lane and Park Lane roads to clear vegetation. Due to this clearance LM will need to install temporary traffic lights to create a safe working space. These temporary traffic signals will be in operation between 09:30 am – 3:30 pm on week days. While these traffic signals are in place, a diversion route will be in operation along Station Road, Kenilworth road, Kelsey Lane, Waste Lane, Nailcote Lane and Spencer’s Lane.
