HS2 Works Notification: Notice of traffic Management on Meriden Road between Hampton-in-Arden and the A452

You may have seen LM working near Hampton-in-Arden to prepare the route of the new railway. LM will be working in the area again from 20 April, for two weeks, carrying out vegetation, hedgerow and tree clearance.

Throughout all works LM's Ecologists will be on site to identify any nesting birds and ensure they are protected whilst these works are completed.

To ensure safe access to roadside vegetation and tree we will be operating temporary traffic lights along Meriden Road between Hampton-in-Arden and the A452. These traffic signals will be operational for two weeks from 20 April between 9:30 am to 3:30 pm .

Our contractors will be on site one hour before and one hour after the works to set up and secure the site at the end of each day.

Access to properties and businesses will be maintained. Marshall's will escort pedestrians safely through the works as required.

HS2 Works Notification: revised LM works on the A446 and A452

On 1 April, we notified you of road and lane closures on the A446 and A45 2 to facilitate overnight surveys, being carried out by LM (Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons) on behalf of HS2. These closures were originally scheduled to take place from Monday 6 April to Thursday 9 April. Due to two successful evenings on site, we can confirm that these closures have now stopped. This means the A446 southbound and A452 northbound, single lane closures, from Wednesday 8 April to Thursday 9 April will no longer take place.
