HS2 Works Notification: Ongoing road and lane closures on the A452 northbound and A446 southbound

We need to introduce a reduced speed limit along the A452 northbound and A446 southbound, following the completion of our access roads off the A452 and A446. This new limit will be in force from Saturday 18 January to Thursday 31 December 2020.

A reduced speed limit and speed cameras will protect our workforce, and the travelling public, while our access roads are in use. To set up the speed cameras and signage safely, we need to install temporary road and lane closures.

To carry out this work, we’ll need to install temporary overnight road and lane closures on the following roads:

A452 northbound, between Saturday 18 January to Sunday 19 January, road closure

A446 southbound, between Sunday 19 January to Monday 20 January, lane and road closures

A45 slip road leading to A452, from Sunday 19 January to Monday 20 January, lane closure

Signed diversion routes will be in place for road closures. Our working hours will be 8pm to 5am, but our contractors may be on site up to an hour before and after those times to set up and close down the site.
