News on HS2 in Solihull

During July we notified you of work we were carrying out to divert a gas pipeline near Kenilworth Road, west of Berkswell. We are now beginning the next stage of this work, which will involve boring a tunnel off the A452.

The machinery we need to use to bore the tunnel may need to run for 24 hours a day, however, because the work takes place underground we do not expect there to be any additional noise or disruption in the local area.

Construction traffic will not travel through Balsall Common and we do not anticipate there to be any disruptions to the gas supply in the area.
