News on HS2 in Solihull

We are writing to make you aware of the next stage of work that will be undertaken by Western Power Distribution that is related to HS2.

To construct the railway, it is necessary to remove a tree and some shrubbery to allow future electricity cable installation. We will be working in the verge between NEC car parks 4 and 5 to remove 12m small strip of vegetation.

The works will be done by hand with no large machinery, so there will be little or no disruption to residents.

The working hours for this work will be 9:00am to 4pm. See picture below

LM will be starting works for the construction of the roundabout on the A452 Kenilworth Road, Berkswell close to Park Lane. The first phase of works is to divert existing utilities along sections of the A452 , as notified to you on 10 Jan.

As previously stated, these works will involve both overnight working from 6:00 pm to 08:00 am and daytime working hours from 08:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The new updated notification Kenilworth Road, roundabout construction updated is available and this includes a map of these works.
