News on HS2 in Solihull

We will be implementing trial holes near the M42 junction 7 and 7a northbound. The works will take place overnight on Monday 12 July and Tuesday 13 July on junction 7. They will then take place on junction 7A overnight on Wednesday 14 July and Thursday 15 July. The works will take place from 9pm – 5am. To carry out our works safely we will:

Implement a full overnight closure of the M42 Junction 7 northbound on 12 July and 13 July

Implement hard shoulder closure of the M6 Junction 4 exit slip road on 12 July and 13 July

Implement a full overnight closure of the M42 Junction 7A northbound on 14 July and 15 July

Implement temporary lane closure on lane 2 of the M6 Junction 4 exit slip road on 14 July and 15 July
