Vegetation removal in the interchange area from 26th July

As part of our preparation works for future construction of the HS2 Interchange Station and railway route, we are undertaking vegetation and tree removal in the area. We previously notified you about traffic measures from Monday 19 July to late August 2021 on and around Northway Island, which will temporarily redirect traffic along certain routes. We’ll use these existing traffic measures to safely access the site near Northway Island.

From Monday 26 July, vegetation and tree removal will start in Pool Wood along the A452. We will only be removing the minimum required for the construction of the railway.

The map below, circled in orange, shows the location of the area where works will take place.

This schedule is subject to change depending on site and weather conditions and evolving measures to combat coronavirus. We’ll keep you informed of any adjustments at: www.hs2insolihull.co.uk and at HS2.org.uk works in your area map
