News on HS2 in Solihull

On Wednesday 19 May , we informed you that from Wednesday 2 June to Friday 4 June, 9.30am to 3.30pm each day, temporary lane closures would be installed along sections of the A452 northbound and A446 southbound near Northway Island. We have been carrying out these traffic measures to allow safe access to our work sites to prepare for future construction works, which includes roadside vegetation clearance .

Due to unforeseen circumstances, these temporary lane closures will be extended to Monday 7 June and Tuesday 8 June.

These traffic measures will be carried out in conjunction with a new direction of travel for road users around Northway Island, which will commence on Monday 24 May.
